How Valuable is Communication Execution in Driving Business Success? Watch this Video Interview with Diana Bonczar to Know More!
Delighted to share the 19th edition of Intraskope’s Spotlight Series’ featuring Diana Bonczar, an experienced communications leader, the co-founder of Inko Group and Femme Palette mentor. Diana is based in Brno, Czech Republic and has been instrumental in bringing together the best minds in Central Europe together to discuss internal communications and the value it offers.
In the Spotlight on Internal Communications Series, I talk to thought leaders on topics interrelated with internal communications such as culture, crisis, change, executive presence and leadership. The goal is to help unravel why they matter, what can leaders and communicators learn from experts and how we can put insights to practice.
Diana and I spoke on the often-ignored area of communication execution. Most communicators focus a lot on strategy but probably place less attention to this valuable component of driving success within organizations. We cover the need to be nimble, open-minded and flexible to change because there isn’t an ideal way to communicate. While programs are built to follow a plan, many a time, the environment and situations change and the ability to stay focused, resilient and committed matters.
Diana believes that practice helps immensely and communicators must invest a lot more to build effective relationships that will help them execute plans better.
“Build relationships with your stakeholders. Make sure they remember what you need from them to be able to support them. Make them include you in their topics soon enough so that you have the right amount of time and information to build a plan that makes sense and execute smoothly with the support and engagement of all needed parties”, she says.
